Aarhus Sustainability festival is a different type of Danish summer festival and is organised for the first time and is going to be come an annual event from this year onwards in the month of May. the 4 day event is filled with a mix of activities, concerts, debates and also children activities

Please note that you can buy a 4 day event pass (festival armband for 90Kr.) - gives you accesss to all activities.

Alternatively, you could head down to Merkur bank before noon on Wednesday and buy it for a discounted price of 60 Kr.

Tickets at individual events cost 40Kr. per event - if there is only one event you would want to attend.

I will be going back home next week and will only be back in Aarhus for a week in june to take my exams. Since I'm giving up my room next week (as my studies end), I was wondering if anyone here runs a paying-guest kind of accommodation where I could rent a room for a 3-5 days in June (as hotels/motels here and extremely expensive and hostels/dorms are too noisy for a serious student to study in). I have no big requirements of a room (besides a lamp!), and would be happy to pay any price per day upto 300dkk per day. The dates are probably 14th-19th june or 17th-22nd june. I bought my furniture in november, so it's reallllly new. It's from IKEA and everything is at half the price!! It's a minimalist list:

mattress - dkk 350 (Sultan Huglo, in excellent condition since it's only 5 months old)

study table (white) - dkk 85 - 42''x24''x63'' (good size)

revolving chair - dkk 65

table lamp - dkk 35

coat hanger - dkk 60

comforter - dkk 85

Since my studies are over and I'm going home (leaving next monday!), it's be great if I could sell my furniture soon. All of it is in excellent condition since it's so new. Its not the first time I am hearing about such a problem....And its very unfortunate that some doctors are rushing their appointments like this.

Well next time when you call your doctor ask him/her that you would like to have a longer appointment to discuss few things. Maybe if the doctor knows about it before hand then it will become easier.

I have lived in different EU countries before this, and moved to Aarhus recently. The system here is one consultation for discussing one problem.

Now since I am new, and my GP does not know my medical history, I have to give him a bit of related background in order to consult him for "one" problem. I have consulted him twice, and each time I finished in 10 minutes (did not overshoot the alloted 15 minutes). But I noticed each time I would make a mention of the other conditions I have, my GP would give a panicky glance at his computer clock.

Is this normal here? How can one discuss a big problem one that cannot be covered in 15 minutes? As the doctors on this forum would agree, there can be complex or long running chronic problems that require history taking that may take up even 20-30 minutes! 

How satisfied are you all with your stop-clocked consultations?
